summer update -- this'll be quick!

Why so quick? Because this is Day 1 of my vacation, and the beaches of Martha's Vineyard beckon! But church goes on in my absence, and there's plenty to share for this week and the weeks ahead: Please give Bishop Gayle Harris lots of love, as she comes to serve as guest presider this Thursday (what does it say that this is the first time a bishop has presided at The Crossing? Hmm ... not touchingthat one). Plan to join our weekly House Church gatherings in the month of August. Each Thursday at 6pm, we'll shift to a different member's home to share prayers, food, community and whatever the host wants to toss into the mix.
