Complete Joy -- 5.18.06 Worship Gathering
Welcome to The Crossing! If you'd like to know more about this freshly-hatched adventure in the Spirit, hit the "WELCOME" link to the left. Want to visit? Join us THURSDAYS @ 6:30 P.M. at St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral, our home in the heart of Boston ("where is the crossing?" -- lefthand sidebar). If you'd like to know what's cooking from week to week, just read on ...
Last week's gathering rocked -- a stirring blend of contemplative (building the inner silence where we can hear God's voice) and restorative (with drumming, chanted songs, creative "open space" and, as always, the thanksgiving meal at God's table). The Spirit is truly coming to life in this open circle of new friends seeking God. Phew!
This week Ben takes the reins and guides our worship and reflection on life in light of the Good News of Jesus ...
The Gospel according to John, Ch. 15, vs. 9-11:
Jesus said, "As my Abba God has loved me, so I have loved you; abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Abba God's commandments and abide in God's love. I have said these things to you so that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be complete."
Got thoughts, prayers, worship suggestions? Post them here. We will be planning on Tuesday, so pray quick.
