just around the bend ...
October's a big month for us @ The Crossing, so big I figured I should offer a heads-up while we're still in September:
- Mark your calendar for our two-day, experiential, emerging church teach-in -- Emerge: An Emerging Church Worship Learning Party -- here at The Cathedral on Fri., 10.17 (5:30-9pm) and Sat., 10.18 (10am-3pm). Click here for details, including online registration.
- No worship on Thurs., Oct. 16, because we'll be doing so much of it the following Friday and Saturday!
- Back it up to Thurs., Oct. 9, when we host a post-worship potluck to reflect together on our new Rule of Life (we call it the "Rule for Real Life"). Everyone can take part in our journey deeper into the heart of God. Your schedule (or location) doesn't mesh with Thursday worship? That's alright -- this journey works virtually. Need a copy or want a partner for the journey? Just read on ...

Thur., 10.9 / Post-Worship Potluck & Reflection on Rule for Real Life
On October 9, you can stay after worship for potluck supper and reflection, when folks can share how we're receiving the Rule for Real Life, what's compelling, what needs to be fleshed out so we can more fully live Jesus' life together. This is our invitation to follow Jesus on the ground, daily, for real. Go ahead and accept it! To get a copy of the Rule, share feedback, or to link with a prayer partner, contact Penny at penny@pennylarson.net or 617.755.8420.
Small Groups @ The Crossing
Jason Long is our new Minister for Community Life, and he's got a passion for building community and living the Jesus way in small groups. If you've got the same passion -- either to help organize this new ministry or to be in a group -- then contact Jason: jlong@diomass.org or 617.482.4826, x311.
